Pfft

Why is it ok for a chick to throw things, but when a guy gets all aggro and throws a bottle at a window for example, it seems waaaaay worse?

It's also ok to have dumb men in TV adverts but a serious and sacrilegious crime to have woman portrayed in the same light.

Ok I am not going on about the whole it's not fair on men thing. Just what a pain in the arse it stereotypes are.

I think it's because when a girl gets in trouble, she'll cry and piss off everyone, but if a guy gets in trouble, he gets angry; which is entertaining for everyone else.

The same thing goes with not getting their way.

What I don't get is why I got in trouble in the following scenario:
I was talking with some friends, next to a group of really loud gossiping girls. We had to talk loudly to hear each other over the girls. One girl turned to face us and told us to shut up, as we were being too loud. I replied by telling her she was also being too loud. She responded by shouting 'Fuck you!' so in return I said 'I'm sure you want to.'
She got really pissy, and started hitting me with a book she'd pulled out of her bag.
I pushed her arm away, not too hard, just to get it away, but she did the whole dramatic fall, followed by crying 'OW! I landed on my head! I can't see anything... I'm blind!'.
She of course wasn't blind, didn't land on her head, and fell over on purpose.
She came to school the next day wearing a sling, but never wore it again after that.

Yeah, I got in a lot of trouble for that... 'Beating up a girl.'
She got some guy to punch me in the head for it, too. That guy got suspended, at least. That was only because he also punched the teacher who gave him a detention for punching me!

..that's my story of today. It's sorta related..!
